I believe you can get decaf Green Tea. You could try drinking the regular first to see if the caffine really bothers you.

They do make decaf green tea, but I've never used it. In addition to my water (of course) I drink coffee in the am, tea throughout the day, and tend to have green tea later in the day. I drink full octane on all of them, but here's the breakdown so you can make your own choices:

An average cup (6 oz) of green tea contains approximately 30 milligrams of caffeine. This compares to a cup of black tea, which has about 40 milligrams, and a cup of brewed coffee, which has 120 milligrams of caffeine. A brewed cup of decaffeinated green tea generally contains only 2 milligrams of caffeine per cup.

I drink a cup of decaffeinated green tea (Lipton, I believe) at night with the vanilla flavored DaVinci syrup instead of Splenda. It tastes great, and there's no carbs in the syrup. I've not had any problems losing, and green tea is supposed to have some health benefits.

You can decaf any tea by first putting it in boiling water for 30 seconds dumping that water out and resteeping for 3-4 minutes. Works for me and have been doing it for years.

I drink regular green tea all the time. I'm addicted to Tazos "Ginger Green w/a hint of Pear". I can't tolerate very much caffeine & this doesn't bother me at all.
