This really isn't the form for this but I want to ask anyway. Does anyone know of any Sugar Free/Low Carb Chocolate Dessert sauces (like hot fudge)? My mom is looking for some, so I bought a jar from Pleasantville a while back when they were selling, it was called King's Cupboard and it was wonderful. She wanted to try something else so I bought some from Steel's - it tastes awful to me!

Just curious, she likes to have a teaspoon now and then just for a taste. I see I could order from King's Cupboard directly, but wondered if there were other suggestions.

Thanks
Karen

If she is looking for more of a syrup (like kids use for choc milk) Walmart sells it under their "Great Value" label but not all stores stock it.

She's looking for a hot fudge type sauce. Occasionally, like I said, she'll have a teaspoon to satisfy her sweet tooth, she likes to have it on hand.

Thanks! I'll check Davinci out.

Why couldn't you make your own with the Coconut Oil, Splenda & Cocoa Powder? Like the candy that Kumus posted, just don't let it harden all the way in the fridge. Wow, yet another use for my coconut oil.

Walden Farms sells a chocolate syrup, $3.95 for 12 oz. bottle. Actually, it's more like a sauce than syrup. The label says no carbs and sugar free, of course we know there has to be some caloric value in there. It is sweetened with maltodextrin. Take a peek at www.waldenfarms.com

Some folks like it and others don't seem to care that much for it. It's one of those YMMV.

Beejay has a great idea to make one up using the VCO.

Here's a recipe for one my good friend Rhonda makes - she says it thickens up as it cools. I plan to make this one pretty soon here!

yanno - i saw that one that DaVinci's has.. and i thought to myself.. if i have choc sauce in the house, even if it's s'f.. i will be SOOO tempted to have too much of it.... PLUS, i'd want it over ice cream!!!

for me - it's just too dangerous to have in the frig.
