Tonight we had hoagies, subs . I was going to get a chef salad but changed my mind. My daughter had a ham and cheese so I had a quarter of it. I have been good for 2 months. I guess I can start again tomorrow. Now my older daughter brought in a pizza ![]() started 7/26/2003 one day at a time...one pound at a time 337/319/200 9/9-316

Alas. Now it's time to forgive yourself and get back on plan! You can do it! Cheers, Emelia "We can only learn to love by loving." - Iris Murdoch, Irish writer 294/208/174 LC since 25-Nov-01

One quarter of a hoagie, why, that hardly even qualifies as a cheat!!! That quarter of a bun is probably 10-12 carbs, and the stuff inside is probably all legal!! I think the main concern is that the processed flour has a very high glycemic index, and may kick your blood sugar up and cause an insulin spike, which might lead to cravings. If that didn't happen, don't sweat it. Keep up the good work John 202/176/170
