| I have been dieting and training for about 3 1/2 months with the goal of 7-8% body fat and some muscle gain. I have been following a CKD (cyclical ketogenic diet) for a while now. I would love some feedback on my progress. I have everything listed here. [admin note: link removed] Please let me know what you guys think. Good or bad, I can take it. | Hello Scott, Congratulations on your weight loss and body building progress. It appears you have worked very hard and you have been rewarded with good results. As you know, this is a low carb community and many folks here do follow Atkins, or a tweak thereof. As far as I know, we don't have many body builders, at the moment, here at LCE...maybe one or two. I just have a few questions for you, if you would endulge me? How long will you follow your current CKD? Do you plan to eventually change to the LC WOE(ie Atkins, Protein Power), and if so, when? | Hi Shelley, thanks for checking out my progress. I definitely wouldn't classify myself as a bodybuilder, just a guy trying to get in good shape. I followed the CKD for about 1 month. My initial fat loss was good but it stalled rather quickly. I'm back on carbs again for about 2 weeks and then I will go on a "lower-carb" diet eating under 100g of carbs a day. Scotty |
