Does anyone know of a good substitute for Graham Cracker crumbs in a pie shell? I was going to make a LC cheesecake but can't think of what to do for a crust and crushed pork rinds really aren't what I had in mind.

YES. I plan on eatting it in moderation with family who have no weight problems.

Ground hazelnuts (run them through the food processor), mixed with melted butter and a little splenda (or DaVinci), pressed into the pie pan and baked at 350 for fifteen minutes. Don't forget to count carbs in the hazelnuts.

This pieshell is yummy with cheesecakes!

I've used ALL the above nuts, AND macadamias!! I also usually add a tablespoon of flax meal. Helps to up the fiber content and it tastes good too!

I actually think the nut crust is BETTER tasting than the graham crackers...

I haven't used any of that. I just put the batter in the cupcake cup and bake it. Suits me just fine.

I use finely *chopped* pecans, mixed with butter, splenda, and cinnamon.. If there's a little left, you can use it as topping on the cheesecake, too.
