Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone else has some annoying sensations in their chests? I don't know if it is heart burn or hunger or what, but it is starting to worry me a bit. I just finished induction with an astounding 20lb weight loss, which puts me very close to my goal weight. I am a healthy 32 year old woman with no health problems. Any input here?
Thanks,
Julie

I would make an appointment with the doctor, or if they worsen go to emerg.

Are you having actual pain in your chest? If any doubt, dont mess with it and go straight to er!

Julie,
Chest pain is not to be ignored for any reason or length of time. My dear, if you are experiencing chest pain, please call your physician immediately!

This forum is not intended to be a replacement for professional medical advice or attention.

Call your doctor's office TODAY and discuss this with the office nurse, OR go straight to ER if this continues. Best to be sure!

Take care
Susan

Jules,

I think there is a difference between chest pains and hunger pains or heart burn... but, if you are worried - call your DR asap, or get the to Hosp.

it's nothing to mess around with.

Hi again. Thanks for your advice. I know I do not have any sort of medical problem. I was just at my doctors last week and had a full physical with chest xrays and the whole works. I will call though and see what they say. Chest 'pains' isn't really what I meant. It is hard to describe what I am actually feeling, but I honestly think it is just hunger, and a longing for some of the foods my body is craving. An extreme 'crave' lets call it. Anyway, I understand this forum is not a replacement for sound medical advice and that is not what I am seeking. I was simply wondering if anyone else has these sensations.
Thanks again
Jules

Absolutely check with your physician. I work for two doctors. Chest pain is nothing to fool around with. It could be, as suggested, heartburn, or it could be a muscle spasm, or it could be any number of problems with the heart muscle or its valves. Not to scare you - but John Ritter didn't have any prior known problems either....

Get thee to thy doctor girlfriend!
