| Well I'll start this off, I have noticed quite a few. I'm not as hungry as often, also I have more energy and focus. I let things slide a little better and don't fly off the handle. I used to have little tolerance to pressure and stressful situations. I'm better at problem solving. Anybody find any benefits to this way of eating? Judy

| Oh yes! The better I eat the better I am in my moods as well. It seems that poor fuel just makes me grumpy and lethargic. |

| energy and focus do seem to improve. and definitely a more consistent mood. and for me - my asthma seems to be nearly nonexitent. ok. I NEED to write these down and get them IN MY FACE. I know it all seems so much better when I am low carbing - so why am I having so much trouble getting back to it.

| For me that's a long list. Just a few that come right to the top: Blood sugar under good control with no meds. Nice even energy level throughout the day. Very little lower joint pain, probably due to less weight on them.

| A feeling of smug self-satisfaction, knowing that I'm so much healthier than I was a few years ago. Arthritis pain doesn't scream at me every day, demanding ibuprofen throughout the day. Sometimes I can go for days and days without painkillers. I don't wake up in tears anymore because my knees are hurting so bad. I sleep better (but that could be due to being past menopause.) Better moods. Better control of my hunger. I don't need to graze all the time. Now, if this woe could let me grow more, thicker hair, and grow about an inch or 2 taller, it would be perfect! I like myself better, not just due to the initial weight loss, but due to having more control of myself, my eating, my general outlook. |

| well, lessee: we have the energy, focus and reduced appetite standard stuff here. less "food focus" in my life. between better eating and vitamins, i can't remember the last time i got a cold or the flu. my allergies seemed to improve, too. lotsa good stuff! |

| Isn't it amazing how much better we feel, now why am I prone to lapses in judgement and start eating them again. This time I have been good for 6 weeks and I haven't had any lapses yet. Now if I could figure a way to lessen the hot flashes life would be good(LOL). Judy

| Another bonus that I just LOVE: Clear, glowing skin & strong, healthy nails -- and I know this is directly related to this way of eating because when I go off plan, they disappear. But also, ditto everyone else on the mood, lack of appetite, higher energy, etc. It's just better all the way around!

| I have also noticed sometimes I forget to eat. You would have to know me better to see the significance of that. When I was doing veggie low carb I couldn't get food off my mind. It's wonderful now I eat when hungry then get on with the rest of my day. Judy

| It's funny some people do well on veggie low carb, I always gain weight on it. I have read plenty of threads where people do fabulous on it. I guess everyone is different. Judy

| I came to read this to add the wonderful changes I have seen, and they are all covered. However, let's not lose this thread! It is v. motivational and a good reminder that when the scale is not moving it doesn't mean I am not benefiting from this WOE! ![]()
