And man was I surprised...there was LOTS of LC food!!! Sunday is my bd and today was my last day to work(start vacation tomorrow) and the gang had a surprise lunch and BD party. They had cheeses, pork rinds with very good dips, lc of course, beef stick sausage, almonds and veggies to dip also. Some of the non LC-er's kept asking, "you can have this stuff on THAT diet?" Us LC-er's,(seems to be 3 of us at work now!) just grinned and said, "yummmm...yes, we can"! It was a good day

Thanks everyone! When we have a BD party for someone at work, we always try and bring their favorite food. So, they all know what my favorites are...veggies with dip, cheeses, meats, and nuts! I was sooooo thankful not to be tempted with chocolate, cookies, cake, etc.
It really was a good day

    Happy Birthday!
That's wonderful that you have coworkers who understand you and work with your WOE! What a pleasant surprise when people are actually positive and understanding about Atkins, don't you think? My BF's family has been so good to me, always having LC options around if Sunday dinner is carb heavy. I think I assume everyone else thinks it's terrible, and when they show otherwise it's really comforting. Sounds like you've got some great people at work!

    xoxo
