| How do you know if you are at your CCLL (ACE) or if you in a plateau?? You are doing the OWL rungs and stop loosing, what to do. I am not there yet but I expect I will be. This question kept me up for about an hour this morning before my alarm went off! |

| Deb, That is a good question. When I started following Atkins I had the same thought and sent that question to the Atkins helpcenter website. I never got a response from them. What I finally decided was that I would treat any non-loss period as the start of a potential stall and not increase my carb count further, until I started losing again. If the period eventually met the definition of a stall (1 month without losing pounds or inches), then I would try various stall busting techniques, if I was concerned about the "stall", if not I would keep the count at that level. Once I started losing again, I would continue with the carb increase ladder but if I stopped losing at the same level again, I would treat that level as my CCLL.

| That indeed sounds like a very rational approach. Thanks for weighing in, Henry. |
