DaVinci's newsletter says that they have a new sugarfree (Splenda-sweetened) syrup flavor - PINEAPPLE! Yum yum.

There's a recipe on their website, www.davincigourmet.com - for a No Guilt Pina Colada using Pineapple and Coconut syrups, 1/2 and 1/2, and ice, then blended - now THAT sounds right up my low-carb alley!

I've just placed my order - can't wait to get it.... Six bottles ship for $6.95, not bad considering the weight!

And right now it's on sale! I just purchased a sinful amount of these syrups and am eagerly awaiting my shipment to arrive. Also, they alluse to having a SF starfruit, but I couldn't find anywhere to order it.

davinci is based in seattle, and if you live in washington, you should really look around to try and find a better price. i get mine in bellingham which is about an hour and a half north of seattle. my cost is under $4 per bottle, and thats for the big 750ml ones that are 7.59 on the site.

the store that carries them here is united grocers cash and carry.

oh, and davinci just came out with sugar free chocolate sauce too, thats got to be interesting =)

I'm so excited, I found Splenda sweetened Torani syrups at Cost Plus-World Market. I bought a bottle of Irish Cream and have been having 2 TBS in my coffee concoctin in the am. It tastes just like Bailey's. Some day I will try DaVinci too. I just LOVE these syrups. YUM!!!!

Hey, Barb - COOL! I've tried both Torani and DV and my tastebuds prefer the DV. It's nice to be able to find them locally though!

I did an experiment yesterday which worked really well - I added 1 tsp. ThickenThin/Not Starch to 3/4 cup DV SF Huckleberry syrup and nuked it til it thickened - voila! Instant flavored pancake syrup! This morning we made Strawberry. It was good too but the Huckleberry was better. Next weekend, will try the Blueberry and hopefully the Pineapple if it arrives in time.

I think guar or xanthan gum would do the same.

YUM!

I ordered the new pineapple, too (with my most recent "restock" order)... and the chocolate sauce! I'll report when it gets here!

I'm going to try that trick for pancake syrup, too. That sounds reallly good.
