I order things I can't find here at the local stores. I've always had good luck with ordering online. We eat mostly whole foods but now and then there is something I need for a recipe.

Yes the same here. I know that this weekend i will have to make another order. I like the Carbquick for making pancakes and biscuits for DH. I am also running out of cereal. I think it is good that we have an online option to get what we need.

I was ready to place my order with netrition and at the Walmart I found flax meal pretty cheap and found davinci syrup on sale! I didn't even know they had it but they do. The large bottles were 5.99 and the small were 3.99. I bought hazlenut for use on french toast which I hear is great, and vanilla. I'm going to have to order the xanthium gum and coconut flour. They had the xanthum but it was real expensive.

I was going to order carb smart but I found a recipe using coconut flour that is getting great reviews so I thought I would try it. I know you might ask what I want to try and make so I will tell ya! I will be using Aloha Nu flour from netrition though.

Tiana Cheese Biscuits
Ingredients

¼ cup TIANA Organic Virgin Coconut Oil or butter, melted
1/3 cup sifted TIANA Organic Coconut Flour
4 eggs
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon baking powder
½ cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Method

Blend together eggs, butter, salt, and onion powder. Combine coconut flour with baking powder and whisk into batter until there are no lumps. Fold in cheese. Drop batter by the spoonful onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 205 Degree C (400F) for 15 minutes. For a cheesier biscuit increase cheese to ¾ cup.

Oh there are some threads on this at the Low Carb Friends site and I hope it is ok to post the link because it explains a lot you can do with these including making rolls, hamburger buns and french toast.
