Hello Everyone, It's such a pleasure to read posts from many of the people who inspired me and in some cases struggled with me back in 2002! I lost 30-40 lbs in less than 6 months back in 2002 before i got pregnant and fell off the wagon and haven't gotten up. I did breifly right after the pregnancy; i reached 220 lbs and was down to 180 after the baby was 1 year old. He is almost 3 and i've balloned to 210 in the past year in a half. I feel 10 years older, pregnant because i weighed this much when i was 8 months pregnant. I was such a good low carber; an inspiration to many whom i can't look in the eye now. I've neglected myself in so many ways that i don't recognize myself in a picuture. Personally alot has happened in a year in a half; my precious son was diagnosed with autism or pdd and it's a battle i prioritize; he is so strong and smart and i know we are going to get thru this. I need to be healthy for him, for me, for us. I left a mediocre secure job for one that is fast paced and challenging. I also bought my first home; which took over a year of hard work. So now i want to take the same dedication that i've put into all of the above and give myself the time to really give this way of life a fair chance; i deserve it! Two weeks ago i got back on the wagon and have waited to complete my re-induction before posting. I lost 3 pounds but wasn't so focused on the number just keeping myself away from carbs even if i ate to much protein. I just hope i can give myself this chance. Thank you for reading this; i look forward to staying on this wagon

| Curlyliss, Welcome back to LCE! ![]() You sound like a pretty strong (& determined) lady...and that's a good thing when it comes to taking care of yourself! Believe in yourself, don't let anyone or anything de-rail you; this is your time to get a healthy lifestyle going for the rest of your life. You'll be doing your family a favor, but most of all, as you know, you'll be doing yourself the BIGGEST favor by getting healthy! You can do it! best wishes! s

Welcome home! Your attitude is going to make you a success. Health first! Always! And I wish you success in your challenge raising your son. (My grandson is autistic, with a myriad of other problems, too, so I know what your challenge is.) Come back often. This is a really helpful group of people.

Welcome back, Curly! You know, I find it ironic for myself that when I'm stressed or spread thin, I get sloppier about taking care of myself, and yet that's the very thing that makes it easier for me to manage everything else. We humans can be funny animals sometimes... glad to have you back with us. ![]()

Thank you ladies. I really appreciate your welcome and support. Today was a tough day; skipped lunch to file my taxes so dinner time i was starving and irritable! Had a horrible fast food combo meal and ate the fries!! I knew i should have packed nuts. Will drink no less than a gallon of water tomorrow for sure.

![]() Welcome back Curlyliss, we've all been there and can empathize with you.I've fallen off the wagon so often that it isn't even funny. Just don't look back at your failures, but ahead to success. I haven't been on alot this week and have neglected my emails. My inbox has been so full it took me a half an hour to wade thru them. This week has been unreal, I cannot believe how busy I was. I have a feeling the week coming up is going to be worse. I hope everyone has a great day. Judy
