=15lbs GONE!!!!!
I am so excited!!! I am solidly in the 170s and moving on down the road!!!! Pretty soon I will have to have my tiara resized! I got dressed again this morning and found that my clothes are definitely fitting differently, in a good way I can't imagine carrying around 3 5lb bags of flour but that was what I was doing! No wonder I feel lighter in so many ways.

So how about the rest of the LC Divas? Or how about you LC Dudes? I hope your July is extremely joyous!!!

Blessings for a wonderful, joyous LC Diva day!!!

Congrats on hitting 15 pounds lost! What I remember most from before, when I lost a lot of weight lc'ing, is that along the way, there were lots of little things that felt good and kept me motivated. Loose clothes were definitely one of those things--they'll be hanging on soon. Keep up the great work. And thank you all for your encouragement to me. I'm starting to feel at home here a bit.

Oh, Evie...one of these days I'll set up a signature, but for now--

My start weight was 230 (Beginning of July), and I'm down to 225. I'm not getting too excited, because I know that's just water. My first mini-goal is 220, and I sort of hope I'll see that by the end of the month. My goal weight, for now, is 180, although that is still overweight for me. When I get to 180, I'll be back where I was in summer 2005, and only about 20 pounds from the 160 I was at the beginning of 2005. I felt great at 160, and I hope to see it again, but I don't want to make it my goal right now. If I can get to 180 again, I'll take it from there. I certainly won't stop eating a low-carb lifestyle, and my intention is to get to a healthy weight and maintain it for good. We can do it!

I just cannot believe it! I just weighed myself this morning and I am down another 1.5 lbs!!! Total to date is 16.5!!!! This is just amazing. I know that this lifestyle works but never before have I ever been this honest with myself. I feel like I hit my stride and I am heading for the 160s. Watch out because here I come!!!

What is truly wonderful about this journey is that I don't feel like I am denying myself ANYTHING. I don't have the deprivation mindset I have had in the past. I just celebrate that foods I choose to eat. I really cannot put it into words right now how I am feeling. Right now I am staying positive and focused.

Blessings to all and make it a delightful LC Diva day!!!

Gloria,

I'm happy dancing with you this morning. What great reason for celebration!! Like you, I am eating what I like and don't feel deprived. The only time I do is when I don't have things on hand to snack on and find myself thinking of a cookie. But there are so many things we can eat that are very sustaining! Anyhow big congratulations!

My husband told me today that my legs are getting slimmer. He is gone all week so he is noticing the difference when he comes home. Anyhow I am so encouraged when he keeps telling me he sees the weight coming off. I am actually at 302 this morning but I do feel slimmer. I'm off to fix a late breakfast of eggs bacon and those big poblamo (banana) peppers stuffed with sauteed onion and cream cheese and sharp chedder and wrapped in bacon and baked for 40 minutes at 350. YUM

I had a crazy day yesterday. Lots of running around. I stuck to plan. It was not my typical LC day. I was lacking veggies. I have a large salad for lunch today to get me on track again and fresh garden green beans to go with dinner tonight. I officially weigh in this morning and I am 174.5. I am down another pound!!! I am amazed at my lack of hunger. I am at a point where I have to think about eating and make sure I don't skip meals! My body is thriving with this LC lifestyle.

Last night I was searching through my closet looking for something to wear today. I started trying on some tops that have been snug or flat out tight and I haven't been able to wear them. I am happy to report that they fit! No gapping, no pulling! I actually put on a skirt that is just a smidge too big! There are tops that I bought when I started my new job in February that just hang on me. My midsection has always been where I carry much of my weight and that is where I am losing it! I am exhausted today because I was up until 1am!!! Exhausted but excited about my new emerging shape!!! I want each and everyone one of you to feel this satisfaction. We can do it together!!

I hope everyone had a great LC weekend and are ready to face another LC week!

May blessings abound for you today!

~gb

GB it is a good feeling fitting into shirts you couldn't wear or were too snug. I wore a shirt to church yesterday that had been snug. But my weight is hanging right now at 302. that't ok though because I am seeing results in my body.

Yesterday was a higher carb day than usual. Today I am keeping them induction level.

Evie - the numbers on the scale don't matter as much as how you feel. Sometimes it takes a while for the numbers to catch up. KUTGW and you will find success is heading your way!!

Good for you, Glory--it feels SOOOO good to get into smaller size clothing. I can't wait to be there, too.

This morning, I tried the "one minute muffin," which I found on this site. I've always eaten flax-seed muffins as part of my lc lifestyle, but it's a hassle to bake them, clean up two bowls, the muffin pan, etc...

This was awesome! I'm really chuffed about it and looking forward to lots and lots more. I just followed the basic recipe this first time, but I've got big plans for dressing them up.

And what could possibly be more filling?

I absolutely love the OMM!!!! Typically, I added spenda, cinnamon and vanilla. I eat it with butter and sugar free syrup. What a treat! There are so many ways to dress it up. It is definitely a staple for me. Plus flax seed has so many health benefits!

I love seeing new recipe ideas! I will try that OMM for sure and as for syrup for it, I have Davinci Hazlenut which I hear is great as a 'pancake' syrup.

As for what I am eating that I found here.... Last night I fixed a hamburger with a tablespoon of pickle relish. and then for a side, I stuffed two poblamo or banana peppers with sauteed onion, cream cheese, hot sauce, and cooked bacon. Or you can wrap uncooked bacon around them and let it cook with it. 350 for 35 min. or until it looks good. It is so awesome!

I think my weigh day is gonna be Tues. from now on. Monday is never good. Today I show a loss of a few lbs. I am so happy!

I also decorated my profile if anyone wants to have a look.

Your profile is as beautiful as you are!!! I noticed the number change in your signature... Slow and steady does it! You are doing wonderfully!!!

I had auditions last night for a musical. I felt like I did really well. Now it is the waiting. We are to hear something by the end of the week. Because of my newly emerging body shape, I had all kinds of confidence...more than usual. In the past, I always thought that people would look at me and say she is too fat...not this time...I was the best LC Diva I could be. Thankfully, my baggage must have gotten lost at the airport...my fat baggage that is!

Blessings to all for a terrific Tuesday!!!

Thank goodness it is Wednesday and we are halfway through this week. My dh is away fishing and I can't wait until he comes back. Home just isn't the same without him most of all because he is my personal chef! I try and find real fast and easy foods to cook. I eat lots of omelets. My dd isn't too happy about that...she is not a fan of eggs in any form.

Last night we had ham steaks so this morning's numbers were up a little...I always retain after eating ham. I am drinking my water today and I am sure everything will even out in a few days.

I auditioned for a show a few days ago and I am on the edge of my seat waiting to hear if I made the cast. I felt like I did well but you never know what a director is looking for. The waiting tends to make me a little crazy.

Love and blessings to all the LC Divas out there!!! We have the gift of a wonderful Wednesday so let's make it the best it can be!
