Wow! I signed on to the Forum this morning for the first time in more than a month--and had to re-register. What a nice new look to things!

While I was away (I called it a "spa vacation"--at the beach) I had a wonderful time doing outdoor activities and eating healthy low-carb style. (True confession: I "lost it" a bit on the way home, but got right back on track.)

For several years, I've managed to put on five pounds during this vacation. Not this year! Slipping into my "skinny" fall clothes is a huge pleasure.

I am so happy to have found low-carb, and good people to share the journey.

P. S. I see that I'm now listed as a "newbie."

yes this is pretty much a *new* place.

due to the success of Andrea's success story on eDiets, the old site sorta crashed.... (I htink the story is on the front page of this site)

but, needless to say... we moved (literally) at the end of Aug.

Andrea is trying to get all the content of the old site moved over here.... it's just taking time.

HUGE congrats on fitting into your skinny clothes after a long vacation!!

ahhh, to spend 3 weeks at a spa at the beach... soudns like a piece of heaven.
