I cooked a Smithfield ham which boasts lower salt. My spouse and I both spiked up pounds the next day. Any advice?

Drink lots & lots of water to flush out the extra salt!

Jeez, I love ham. I just would mentally subtract the water weight and assume that doesn't count.

Yup Low(ER) salt, not low salt. It's fine to enjoy the ham, just remember you will probably retain water for a day or two.

All you can do is drink lots of water and wait for it to go away!!

Pizza, ham, eating at our favorite Korean restaurant - all cause a "weight gain" for a day or two. It's only water retention. You get rid of water retention by drinking lots of water. Don't let it discourage you!
