| I cooked a Smithfield ham which boasts lower salt. My spouse and I both spiked up pounds the next day. Any advice? |

| Drink lots & lots of water to flush out the extra salt! Never give up! Never surrender! Katrin |

| Jeez, I love ham. I just would mentally subtract the water weight and assume that doesn't count. ************** "Sometimes I think you have to march right in and demand your rights, even if you don't know what your rights are, or who the person is you're talking to. | Yup Low(ER) salt, not low salt. It's fine to enjoy the ham, just remember you will probably retain water for a day or two. BC 172/108/108 Zone since 4/98 |

| All you can do is drink lots of water and wait for it to go away!! Pizza, ham, eating at our favorite Korean restaurant - all cause a "weight gain" for a day or two. It's only water retention. You get rid of water retention by drinking lots of water. Don't let it discourage you! Char Don't squat with yer spurs on! |
