sounds similar to the Nature's own bread I used to use. But net carbs were 5 not 6. I think you can use this in mdoderation. have one slice as toast for breakfast and don't go hog wild. When I first introduced low carb bread I ate like 6 or 7 slices the first day. The loaf lasted 4 days. Be aware how you react to this bread. It probably has a high wheat content as opposed to low carb soy based breads. When I took the Nature's own out of mt diet i lost 3 1/2 pounds that week. coincidence possibly but I'm taking no chances.

Been eating it for three weeks. Its delicious and though the carbs are a bit high, I've found that one or two slices a day hasn't stalled my DW or me.

They make 4 kinds- multigrain(my favorite), whole wheat, italian and white. The last two have slightly more carbs than the others.

it's tasty, and a heck of a lot cheaper than the Atkins bread. Also, for anyone in the Boston area, Trader Joe's has a bread with 3g per slice (4-1 fiber), but it is not as good as the Arnold...

One of my local supermarket "apparently" carries the Arnold lower carb bread, but I haven't been able to try it! Everytime I go in there, there's the big sign for it and an empty shelf. I asked the manager and he says they can't keep it on the shelf. It was like that with Mich Ultra, when it first came out. Now they're finally ordering enough to keep up with the demand.

... a little slow on the uptake, they seem to be.

Christine, I'm about 15 miles south of Philly. Or you could say a stones throw away from the DE state line near 95

Here in Ohio, we have Schwebels Country Hearth Lite 100% whole wheat bread that only has 3 grams of carbs per slice. I'm only in my 7th week of low carb, so I'm not eating it yet, but know of people that do and they really like it. It's the lowest carb bread that we have in our area. I will defintely eat it later.

Hey Christine9471,

Count me in the from PA group. I'm in Lewistown. That's about 30 miles SE of Penn State. Although I don't spend much time there. DH and I deliver RV's for a living. So we are all over the country. Our job kinda makes this WOE difficult at times. But We're managing.

lkellen, I don't think you'd get carried away.
