Remember the show "You Asked For It"?
I was scanning the local news site this evening when I spotted an article telling about Heinz announcing their newest twist on their classic ketchup. Yessss! Yessssss! Hienz in coming out with its new one carb ketchup. It is expected to hit the markets in the spring - one carb per tablespoon. Now if I could just find out where to get those one carb french fries.

Good! Because I haven't been able to give up regular Heinz ketchup - The 0 carb stuff is like eating plain tomato paste with a spoon. Blech. Hopefully this stuff has flavor - I can spend the extra 3 carbs elsewhere.

I really like the Adkins ketchup. I think I like it better than "real" ketchup. I am hoping the Heinz will be lots cheaper.

Here in NZ we have Heinz Green ketchup in the new cute bottles that are shaped really nice. I have tried it in the past as they had some on sale for 99cents at Warehouse which is the US equivalent to Wal-Mart.

It is a much stronger flavour than normal ketchup but it is definitely nice. Although the green colour 'can' be offputting but hey! it does taste nice! Good luck on getting some - it's nice (in my opinion)
