I read the posts where everyone seems to be going down in sizes of clothes and I'm feeling left out
I have lost 33 pounds and still can't fit into the next smaller size. My clothes are much looser but the next size down still won't even zip up. I exercise (walking) and do strength training 3 times a week. I think all my weight is coming off my big toe!!
I'm over 40 so I know my body and metabolism is changing a lot but has anyone else been losing the pounds but the inches aren't coming off like they thought they would?

Ahh...don't use the same pair of pants, skirt, etc., as a guide. Go shopping and try something else on! Sizes are different by manufacturer. Thirty-three pounds is FANTASTIC!!!!

I had the same problem you do... I didn't fit into the next smaller size until I'd lost about 45lbs. And then, sizes just seemed to drop out of nowhere, and now they're stuck again. I'm stuck between a loose 16 and a tight 14 pants, and a 20/22 22/24 top (started at 26/28 pants, and 30/32 tops), and I started really close to where you did..

Give it time - before you know it, you'll be falling out of your clothes while you're walking.

Also, even the same manufacturers cut materials differently for different lines.. Try a few new manufacturers and see what happens.

The weight never seems to come off the body parts we want it to come off of, at least not at first.
