| Hi all, dont know if any of you remember me. I'm back after a long grueling move to a new place and whole other region of the country. Unfortunately I couldn't keep up the atkins while in the process (no kitchen does that) but now I"m back to it, and almost ready to start again. I weighed myself last week and I actually lost more! And I have been eatly mostly junk but not alot of it. Glad to be back. My old info is all gone with these new forums. Hope everyone is doing well=) Started June 23,03 184/159/145 |

| Thanks guys=) I still haven't gotten back into atkins yet, too much stress to focus on my diet. In two weeks I'm going to go back in full swing though. Any thoughts on restarting? Started June 23,03 184/159/145 |

| Yeah. I've done what you did many times. The STRESS of dieting wears you out so you have to take a break, that whole thing... The solution I've found is to do this way of eating in the least stressful manner possible. I don't think in terms of how much determination I have, how I'm going to persevere, how I'm going to beat those danged carbs. I don't play Rocky music every time I eat. I don't skip social functions because there will be carbs there. I don't agonize. Instead, I just think about all the good things I get to eat. I'm grateful for every meal. I make sure there's always enough on my plate and a little more, too. Seriously, I'm just awash in gratitude every time I eat! I don't weigh myself except every three months at the doctor's office. I just take for granted that what I'm doing will work or not work. I keep things so simple that I can sleepwalk through it. I never go hungry. I don't worry about the things I can't eat because God knows I've eaten enough of those things to know what they taste like and I'm tired of all that. ************** "Sometimes I think you have to march right in and demand your rights, even if you don't know what your rights are, or who the person is you're talking to.
