Does anyone have tasty breakfast cereal? I ordered some Natural Hot Cereal(Butter pecan) from Dixie Diner. Didn't like it very much. Like Wheatena but with that soyish taste.

Another better tasting choice is Sweet Commute Maple Oat Granola again from Dixie Diner. That was good.

Jo, here is a link to the breakfast cereal.that I eat 3-4 times a week.
Maggie's Cereal
I make the mix in batches of 2 pounds of each ingredient. It also makes a good baking mix that I use for my breakfast One Minute Muffins. The base cereal is bland, so you can flavor it up to suit your taste. I typically use brown sugar splenda syrup and a variety of spices, depending on the mood I'm in. One of my favorites, especially in cold weather, is to make it a little extra thick and add cocoa and vanilla. I refer to that combination as my breakfast chocolate pudding.

If you can stand a few extra carbs, a little bit of coconut flour in the cereal mix adds texture without adding a coconut taste.

count me in as another fan of maggie's cereal. with a little sugar free maple syrup and cooked up with a touch of cream and sweetner, it's just as good as i remember oatmeal but so much better for me!

Thanks Henry, Nita and Goddess! I am going to try Maggies's Cereal. Now that the weather is changing, I am craving something different.
