| Didn't mean too, but last week my father passed away quite suddenly from a heart attack. At first I couldn't eat at all then slowly I started eating the food that people brought such as breads, cakes the sort thats loaded with carbs. I think I even had a hamburger bread and all. I haven't exercised since a week ago Thursday, and I've checked the scale I did lose a few, but at least I haven't gained. I'm planning on starting over again tommorrow. Now, should I do the induction or just continue on the OWL? Any suggestions? Oh and I haven't been drinking my water all that well either. Thanks for any help. Tracy |

| Tracy, So sorry to read of your loss. Easy to understand your self-medicating with carbs. Even unwittingly as it was I believe thats what happened and understandingly so. I would say just go back to your level you were at and start back on the water. You have had enough stress on yourself without worrying about this....just pick up where you left off. | Tracy, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. When my dad died I felt like an orphan at age 32, since my mom had been taken from us several years before. I don't advise you to stress yourself out with induction. Resume your way of eating as you feel ready to do so, make it part of the healing process, not an additional stressor. Time does help some. | Thank you all...i'm doing ok. Day by day hour by hour its better. My dad was so proud that i was losing weight and feeling/looking good. I just feel like i'm letting him down and me by not following it this week. Which is why I have to get back on the wagon tomorrow. Sounds strange I know, but I felt so much better when i was following the plan and losing. I think from what i've read that I should just start tomorrow like i never got off the horse huh. LOTS of water??? Thanks again!!! Means alot to me! |
