| hmmmmmm.....never heard of it, but it looks interesting. How did you use it? Did you bake with it? What does everyone think of the carb content in it, is it too high? shawny |

| i used it as a couscous...added just a bit of coconut oil in it and spiced it up...really nice...i just had maybe 1/4 cup cause it sure fills you up...then i read up on it like i mentioned and when i saw that starch...ouch... so not sure what to do with it now... helene To Love is to risk not being loved in return. | Quinona is a very ancient type of grain, used by very early civilizations. It was one of the first domesticated, along with barley. Note Key word here, GRAIN. | Actually, I read up on this, and quinoa is not a real grain, although it has the same properties in terms of being rich in carbs.
