Ok I will try to keep this short and not bragg too much. Two week ago I went on a cruise for by birthday and while I don't do too bad and still lost 2 lbs, I also had pancakes and candy. Beliving I need to clean my two day eating spree out of my system I return to induction as soon as I got home. Well today is two weeks and Im down 13 lbs. Since on my first induction I lose 14 lbs I don't think this one would be so much, I was wrong and God is good. My present weight is 215 lbs. I was 247 lbs on July 21, 2003 when I started. After induction the first time I stalled for 3 weeks, which was a real test of my committiment (sp?) but by God's grace and great support I have found here I made it. My new short term goal is now 200 lbs. I want to thank all of you, I have never felt alone in this process because of you all. Ok, enough of the mushy stuff on to 200 lbs.

If God is for me, who can be againist me?

July 21, 2003 - 246.7/228/145 or 165 (we will see)

Hartensia....I pray thatyou and I are going to be buddies!

I started WOE on June 25th at 262# my highest weight ever. I lost 10# in the beginning, and I did not get off induction. I went on vacation at the end of July, and pretty much stayed on plan with no problem...then in the beginning of August, I just started buying bacon, egg &cheese biscuits from McD...and the next thing u know I was nibbling on that biscuit, not much but just enough to get me craving carbs. Believe me or not, I dropped 5more # just like that, but then I began craving and yielding to ice cream. Although I was doing everytthing right, except the ice cream, slowly I began to add more and moer. I am now back to 253, so all is not lost. Everytime I keep thinking maybe I should be doing something not as restrictv I realize this is the only program where I was not hungry at all as long as I stuck to the plan. I have been separated for 6 years, and GOD has restored my marriage GLORY TO GOD, who rewards those who diligently seek Him and I want this weight off. I used it as my protection to keep me out of "trouble", during those years instead of trusting God to keep me,.. but NOW I want it off to glorify God, for the benefit of my family and the Kingdom of God. I want to be healthy enough to fulfill my assignment.

I am back on, and I will need some prayer support, and Hartensia, I pray that will be you. If I had been faithful like you were I would be where you are.. But I am no longer looking behind, only to the prize.

Thanks for your testimony and I hope to share with you and others each day.

Be blessed

Thanks Hartensia,

God is so faithful to give us just what we need and to put something before us to let us know that we are on the right path. Seeing your testimony and noticing how close your numbers and goals were to mine, and that you were a woman of faith, confirmed for me that this is what I am suppose to be doing.

I will lift you up daily and talk to you soon.

Thanks

I went to a Housewarming last night...and it was just food filled with carbs, and it looked like I wouldn't find a bite. But I was able to get to the meat before added to the carbs, and vegatable and dip. THat peach cobbler was so tempting, but God gave me a way of escape. I know that if this is going to work, I have to be committed. I have to subdue my flesh and not let it rule me. I Thank God that I was delivered from the temptation. This is a day by day, moment by moment battle. I am in total control of what I put in body, to my recollection, I just don't have any memory of someone tying me to a chair and forcing me to eat anything.

WE ALL HAVE THE VICTORY......WE ARE IN THIS THING TOGETHER
