I have the same list on my freg. but i just don't know what to add, for 5 more carbs. I'm kindof scared.

I had vienna saugages for breakfast, burger with cheese and tomatoe. Roamaine lettuce, turkey, and zesty italian dressing 2grams for 2 tablespoons. And saurcraut and weenies.

Eating more LC veggies is always a good bet!

Here is a small sampling of ideas for approximately 5 g. net carbs.

4 g net carb = cup of steam broccoli with 1 oz melted cheddar cheese

6 g net carb = cup of bell pepper dipped in 2 tbs of sour cream

6 g net carb = 1 stalk of celery stuffed with 2 tbs of sugar free peanut butter

4 g net carb = 1 mini LC cheese cake

4 g net carb = 1/4 cup of dry-roasted almonds

5.5 g net carb = 1/2 cup stewed tomatoes

3 g net carb = cafe breve (1-2 shots of espresso and 1/4 cup steamed half-and-half)

5 g net carb = 1/2 cup boiled rutabaga

Take this for what's it's worth, I got sick about a week ago (Bad head cold). I was sick for about 4 days and I had to go out of town. I wasn't able to exercise for about 8 days and I ate some pizza, french fries and chocolate chip cookies while I was laid up and traveling. This week I noticed that my pants seemed to fit loser and it looked like my stomach had flattened out some. I thought it was just my imagination until this morning when I stepped on the scale for my weekly check and found that I had lost 6 pounds and I'm now down to 220lbs (I'm 6feet 2inches tall).

I haven't gained any of that weight back so it seems like it's permanent. I'm back on the program eating and exercising. Someone told me that it was possible that my body got tricked into thinking I was back to the old eating habits and when I started back on the program my body reacted like it did when I first started the program.

Murry, that is exactly what happened to me when I had a carb blowout about three weeks ago on my DH's birthday. I had no problems getting back on track the next day, but it broke a one-month-long stall. It may not be the wisest choice for a stall buster, but I am NOT going to question it. I'll take what I can get.

Started Atkins 8/1/03 (off and on for the last few years but sticking to it this time!)
206/186/170-160 -- 14.5 inches GONE! (as of 10/21)

My one piece of advice is stop stepping on the scales more than once a week.

I am reading these posts and it seems like a couple ladies do/eat something and step on the scale the NEXT day. That would discourage anybody because of normal weight fluctuations.

Try increasing your fiber and water to see what happens. Or take Atkins Accel because it REALLY does help stalls go bye-bye.

I'm a newbie to this board and a relative newbie to low carbing but I sort of have some knowledge of what I preach.

Best of Luck and may the Whoosh Fairy visit you SOOOON.
