I see a few archived posts about the Accel product, but thought I ask myself. Has anyone had any success using the Accel and if so how long did you use it? I have the little trial pack from the vitamins I bought for induction. I took it yesterday and the only thing I noticed was an increase in energy, I really didnt feel like it supressed my appetite like I had hoped it would.
THanks,
Leasa

I have it, I was taking it, I could not see any change. It didn't suppress my appetite either. Probably a waste of my money.

I tried Accel for a month. I did not think it made any difference. It certainly did not help break my ongoing, months-long stall.

Wow, I guess I am the only one to be "Pro-Accel"!
I don't take Accel by itself. I take it in addition to Atkins Dieter's Advantage and Basic 3. I usually only take it for a day or two when I stall and it definitely results in a one to two pound drop by the end of the week. If I take it longer than 3 or 4 days in a row though, it seems to be ineffective.

I am so sorry that others haven't had the success with it. I LOVE the stuff. But again, maybe I had success because I take the "Core 4"??? I don't know. I certainly wouldn't discourage you from trying it.

In the past I've tried Xenadrine, Phentermine, Dexatrim, Dexatrim Natural, Metabolife, Metabolex, and numerous other diet aids. None of them worked at all for me. This made me leery of any kind of supplement.

Then I tried low carbing and at first I didn't lose much but once I started taking the "Core 4" Atkins supplements the weight started falling off. A true "stall" lasts longer than a week... but since I'm an impatient little bugger and I was on Induction -- if I did not lose anything for a whole week or 10 days then I took the Accel and the whoosh fairy came.

You have nothing to lose by trying. (except a few dollars... or.... weight!)

Hey Michelle - you must've got the bottle of Accel with the magic weight loss ingredients! Just kidding! I'm working on a 13 month long stall and I took Accel during that time hoping for a miracle. At this point in my journey I think only a miracle is going to get my weight loss going again.

But yes, it certainly doesn't hurt to try it, different strokes for different folks I guess. Glad it seems to work well for you.

A 13 month stall??? Maybe you need to try changing your diet and/ or adding more exercise. 13 months isn't a stall it is the complete stop. I haven't been on this for 2 long but so far 3 weeks is the longest I have gone. I know others who are doing this as well and the longest I have heard from therm is 5 or 6 weeks.

Hi Maria,

Yes, it is a complete stop, for sure! I have been gaining and losing the same pounds for all this time. It's been hard to keep my spirits up and keep eating LC. But, I like the way I feel and I just keep hoping I'll start losing again. We'll see.....

Karen,

just wondering, if you've checked if your stop may be related to Candida or a food allergy?

Hope you'll find a solution. Keep your spirits up

Never give up! Never surrender!
