| During Induction I entered my food for the day into Fitday. When looking at the nutritional info, I noticed that I am only getting between 35-50% of the RDA amount of iron. My multivitamin doesn't have iron, per Dr. Atkins recommendation. What are some good sources of iron from food? Maybe I can/should make some different food choices so that I can get all my iron requirements from what I eat. Note: Just starting OWL today. Thanks in advance for your help! | Debby~ Some of the best dietary sources of iron include beef, liver, eggs, oysters, salmon, dark meat poultry, eggs, and dark green leafy veggies. Enjoy! P.S. Congratulations on that 10 pounds lost during induction - you're well on your way! Sky Atkins since 8/02 186/144/under 150 |
