I was so tired after work and had a terrible migrane. After picking up daughter at daycare and having to go grocery shopping as well I decided that I wasn't going to cook so I picked up a pizza. Had one small piece and felt terrible a few hours later on top of having a throbbing migrane still. Won't do that again. Guess we all need those moments once in a while to keep us on track or husbands who are willing to cook once in a blue moon (hee hee hee...)

Domino's pizza came out with a Philly Steak and Cheese item. It's quite good if you only eat the top and toss the crust to the dog. My kids kept saying "Hey! You always yell at us for not eating OUR crust and look at you!" LOL

Toodlebug - Learn from your mistake and start chugging the water to flush that out. We (for the most part) have all been down that road before. I hope I never venture it again.

Michelle - I too am guilty of stuffing my dog with pizza crusts and hamburger buns - it's a wonder why he stays so slim. I guess it's because he's a hyper little terrier and runs around the yard yapping at squirrels all day!

Yep, chug that water!

Don’t worry, it’ll pass and you’ll be feeling better soon. Doesn’t it stink? I hate feeling so bloated. Just that alone often keeps me from eating “bad” carbs.

When we have pizza, I eat the toppings and save the bread for later. DH likes it cut into bread sticks and browned in butter. The bread doesn't go to waste, I don't feel guilty, and he gets a buttery toasted bread treat.

Your dogs actually eat the crust? My dog just hides it in my bedding. Not what I want to cuddle up to!!

I recently discovered the joys of Ragu pizza sauce on LC tortillas smothered in cheese. Yum! I think I actually like this better than "real" pizza now!

Sorry about your migraine. I get them once every few months and it's always awful! Hang in there!

When I first went on this woe I gave my dog all the refuse like bread and fat. she gained 7 pounds in 3 or 4 months. Had to stop that and put her on a diet. She's back to 50 pounds again.
I had a huge Pizza craving yesterday while passing one of my favorite pizza places. I almost gave in but then headed to the market and bought myself a nice porterhouse. The moment i realized that i could have that on this "diet" my cravings vanished.
