Since the new site has been up, I have been unable to change the background color. It's currently salmon with light green writing and I can barely read it. I would like to participate in the forum but cannot because of my inability to see it.

Several weeks ago someone else had the same problem. This is what I had her do and it worked! Give it a try...

Log back out, click off LCE.

Come back into the software (LCE), log on.

Make sure under where you logged in that the "Disable Advanced Interface" option box is NOT checked.

still no luck. I have tried tools and preferences, but cannot see anywhere to change background color.

Nettie, you did make sure that on the log-in page, that the "Disable Advanced Interface" box in not checked?

Here is one more thing to try:

You can specify fonts and colors to always use for Web pages.

On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options.

On the General tab, click Accessibility.

Change the settings as needed, if necessary do a
re-start.
