Please help...I have been truly faithful during induction(three weeks worth) and have increased my carbs accordingly. I am drinking a gallon a day and have not lost anything in two weeks.
Chatting on the site has been a great help emotionally...but. I am at a loss. Tried writing down every bite.NO problem of hidden carbs there. Was told I am not consuming enough fat. Could that be it?

Could you give a sample of a couple days menu choices of what you eat? It would be easier to tell then.

Dinner 4oz canned chicken with mayo and HB egg

What brand salisbury steaks? (I hope you're not going to say Banquet...)

What brand kielbasa? Kielbasa usually has 1 or 2 carbs per ounce. Half a pound could be 8 or 16 grams.

What kind of meatballs? Homemade or commercial?

I'll just chime in here and give my 2cents.
I don't think you are eating enough. Remember, this WOL is not about deprivation. It is not about being hungry. It is VERY common to stall at three weeks. Almost everybody does. I did. Stalled for about three weeks after three weeks. I broke it by eating MORE for two days, and then dropping back to about 30-40 grams carbe. What are you tracking your carb grams with?
You can have ALOT more veggies, and a little bit of fruit (berries). Add some nuts to spice things up. I snack on almonds. They add to the fiber count for each day, and get subtracted from the total ECC carbs.
Congratulations for coming here and asking!! Good luck to you.

Generally speaking, your menu looks pretty good, though I can see a few things that may be contrinbuting to a stalll. Here are a few stall buster strategies....

Eat more veggies, especially earlier in the day. I found that I lose better if I included a serving of veggies a breakfast a couple of times a week.

If your salisbury steaks were one of the frozen varieties with gravy, there's a good chance there were some hidden carbs there, too.

The sausages may be high in sodium, which could hinder weight loss in some people. I started out eating Jimmy Dean sausages at breakfast and for snacks, but eventually I decided to ditch them when I was stalled during the summer. Oh, I'll still have 1 now and then, but it's more of a little treat than a meal.

Almost all your meals included pork or beef, and, some highly processed ones, too. Perhaps it would be a good idea to choose chicken and fish more often.

Frozen, canned, and processed meats and veggies can be very high in sodium. Too much sodium seems to interfer with weight loss.

I'm uncertain about the "fake cheesecake". Too much low carb cheesecake has been known to stall some people. But, if you keep the portions on the small side, it should be okay.

Then, again, there's a fairly common phenomena known as the third week stall. It could be that. After a week or two, such stalls usually resolve themselves.

Thanks for being so helpful..will try to look closer at what I am eating....Yes they were banquet!!! after re reading the package I decided to give the rest to the dog. So I will certainly eat more veggies.I love them and slack off on the sausages---I am a beef eater but I do eat chicken pork and other meats that are not processed. I have always tried to balance that kind of thing. you know, if I could just drop a half pound I would feel so much better.I am not looking for miracles.

Oh, I love sausage... I'd hate to give that up. It's full of good micronutrients.

Banquet, huh? Heheh... I used to eat those. Sadly, they are full of carbs. Instead, for something similar I eat homemade hamburger steaks with cheese and grilled onions.

Trying to get a short cut by using them (the steaks) for the time it takes to nuke one of them I can just do a re-heat on ones I made myself. Hey Doc do you know anything about the Salt/Water cure? Im giving it a try. I have to tell you that I crack up when I see your avitar! I feel like I'm talking the MAN himself!!!! I love the old inventor too!

After screeching to a halt last month in honor of TOM, this month I tried:
Adding Accel
Upping my fat %
Adding more water
It all consprired to get me going so fast I had to back off. I'm pretty sure 4 pounds in 4 days is excessive, but with a little tweaking this could be a way to bridge the evil TOM, and might work for others who are trying to break through a plateau. YMMV, of course.
My favorite thing about this WOE: my cardiac arrythmia has completely stopped!! I will eat like this forever! Woohoo!

Hi Donna, I can hear your frustration. I also stalled and lost 1 lbs in 6 weeks while being so good and no cheating. I added more veges at lunch, stopped drinking diet soda and drank more water and walked a little more. I also took more vitamins & minerals. Your right about this sight everyone is very helpful and supportive. Hang in there it is so worth it. I have a friend who stalled for 4 months and never gave up. she just lost 14 lbs in 4 weeks. It will come off for you too.

SaltWater Cure... I think BC is the expert on that? I've never looked into it. I must consume enough salt during a day for an entire army.

I like that avatar too! I think it lends me a false sense of credibility. People seem more likely to take my vacuous stream-of-consciousness ramblings seriously when they see that wise old face. How easily they are mislead!
