I am feeling terribly blue the last few days.... I havent been in ketosis and I feel so hungry all the time...I know I have creeped to far into the carbs...and now Im paying for it! Im having a hard time wanting to go back to Induction and start over and get my butt back into gear!!! Why oh why have I let pizza get to me so much! I made a carb reduced crust pizza....and that is where it all started....Just cant seem to jump start myself to not wanna eat something sweet or something alittle more carb'ish.....Im still eating everything LOW carb...but eating to much of it and not the good things Im sure...a carb bar here or there a slice of pizza here or there.... alittle LC ice cream...uggggg wanna cry and dont wanna feel this way....Boy did TOM kick my butt this time.... And I didnt stop it either.....*sigh* I can do this...I can get back on the straight and narrow..I feel tooo good losing and feeling better about myself...HELP what can I do to make this stop!!
I want KETOSIS.......ok ok enough of my ranting! and feeling sorry for myself!!
Thanks for listening everyone!!

Oh, I'm sorry you are feeling so blue right now. I know most of us go through times when everything seems tougher and little things really get under our skin.

You did the right thing by coming here for a little tea and sympathy. Have you tried having a cup of herbal tea when cravings are nagging? Sometimes a cup of camomile tea is very soothing and settling.

Try to be sure you are getting enough vitamins and minerals, and do try to get enough good sleep. Being well rested can make a huge difference in your outlook.

Keep in touch, okay? I want to know if you are not feeling better in a day or two.

You shouldn't beat yourself up too badly. You were doing OWL CORRECTLY. You gradually increased your carbs until you found the point that blew you out of ketosis. That's fine. That's how it's supposed to be done. Now, instead of going back to induction, try gradually ratcheting back until you find the level of carbs and the types of foods you can get away with eating and still be in ketosis. That's OWL.

Experimenting is fine. It's how you find out what you can and can't eat. Now you know that you can't eat that reduced carb pizza stuff. Most "reduced-carb" items are a little suspicious anyway. I've discovered a number of things I can't eat, and I'm still losing weight, and I don't feel like a cheater for experimenting to see what happened. It's part of the process.
