| This has probably been ask before, but for me I just found out about the lc bowl meals. I went out and get 5 of them today. But now my ? is this. What about the sugar in them. Most have 5-6 grams of sugar. Isn't that kind of high in sugar? I just do not want to get addicted to them just to find out that the sugar is causing me to crave. | You should be more worried about the sodium content, rather than the sugar.. 5-6 grams of sugars for an entire meal isn't over the top, but the sodium is *obnoxious*.. Double your water intake with them. (296/222/135) 04/01/03 The Downward Spiral Begins |

| Sugar can also come from veggies, I would read the ingredient list to see how far down the list any added sugar or high fructose syrup or whatever sugar-like is. This will give you a good indication. The lower down in the list, the better. Never give up! Never surrender! Katrin |

| What about when you cook foods together like in a crock pot. When you add veg like onion, bell peppers, carrots, ect. What if you do not eat the veg but it is cooked with the meat how do you add that all up as far as carbs? I just want to make sure I do not go over the amount I need |

| Cyber, am I missing something here? If you are only eating the meat from your crock pot dish, the amount of carb the meat "might" pick up would be so negligible as to not be worth counting. BC 172/108/108 Zone since 4/98 |

| BC I eat the veg's I was just asking with them being cooked in the pot together if the meat would absorb more carbs. I guess that is the way I should have put the question. I do eat the veg's. |

| Sorry about the late reply...was off on my honeymoon (gained 10 lbs...long story). But anyway, the Chef's Choice Bowls (I think they are called that..) are good. The beef ones leave something to be desired but the chicken ones are great! I love the fact that I can take one to work and throw it in the dept fridge and nuke it for lunch.
