I too sometimes enjoy KFC sans the breaded skin - still juicy and tasty. They have green beans as a side option at some locations.

I saw 20/20 last night, they did a story about fast food chains "claiming" their food to be healthy. Someone from the FDA said they were formally filing a complaint with the FCC on KFC stating they are false advertising.

Yes I saw that report too Melinda Those people have some nerve. There must be ALOT of high protein dieters out there to have so many restaurants scrambling for our money.

I heard that commercial in passing, so thought I was actually hearing things.

11 carbs. Right. Maybe in a wing. Used to work there as a kid. They double coat the chicken before frying it.

The Downward Spiral Begins

Funny, my DH and I just saw the commercial last night. Later on that night, I caught the last of a national news program (I think 20/20 or something) talking about that commercial and blasting it for the same reasons that have been posted.
But it did talk about all the salads that the Fast Food people are pushing. It was going to go on to discuss if the salads are really good for you - then we had trick or treaters and I didn't hear the end.

I like the grilled salads from McDonalds - it seems to be an quick option.
