Here's a question that popped up in my head while posting to another topic: Can you lose your taste for real sugar? I had some halloween chocolate, a deliberate leap, not a slip, and it just wasn't that good. The week before I had a few bites of a cherry pie at a restaurant, and actually had my DH take a bite because I thought it tasted spoiled. He said it was fine, it must just be me. So, does real sugar taste nasty to anyone else? I actually prefer the Pure Delight dark chocolate bar to any of the "real" candies I ate on halloween. Can this be real, or have I managed to brainwash myself?

Even the smell of sugar bothers me now. I couldn't be happier. Joyce

Me too! I've totally lost my taste for it. I've also lost my taste for two other favorites - champagne and red wine! That's OK though because suddenly one nice martini tastes VERY good.... It is amazing how your tastebuds can change and in a fairly short amount of time too..... Char Don't squat with yer spurs on!

Yup, same here. ************** "Sometimes I think you have to march right in and demand your rights, even if you don't know what your rights are, or who the person is you're talking to. Then on the way out, slam the door."
