Congratulations on your 50 pounds gone! You look great.

I do have to say I am a little bit jealous of you men . I have been eating LC for six months and have only loss around 34 pounds. It seems to just melf off of you guys . My Dh will not eat LC with me, but all he has to do is skip breakfast and he drops 10 pounds. Boy! It is just not fair . Does your wife ever tell you that . I am happy your wife is losing too!
I hope you both get to goal real soon.

Yup! My wife complained big time at the start of this but she is catching up. It feels good to move around again.

Congrats Todd! My story is very similar, and I'll be posting something like that soon, too. I'm well past 100 days, but still, my loss has been about that rate.

I also found a real good "before" picture of me, and I got a new scanner over the weekend so I can scan it in soon. Of course I need a good "after" picture, and that would be best when I actually get some clothes that fit!

Congratulations. My DH is the same. He takes it off quicker but as he closes in on his goal I am starting to overtake him. We started the lc eating and competed over who could lose the fastest. After a minor emotional break down we decided just to encourage each other.

Thanks for sharing your story! I think it's great when husbands and wives--or whole families--do the program together.

While my husband, who is the cook, doesn't adhere to low-carb, he's happy to prepare the right foods for me. He can cook whatever else he wants in the way of potatoes, pasta, etc.

In fact, he likes the LC WOE much better than my previous low-fat regime, because he can use butter, mayonnaise, olive oil, and other formerly-forbidden goodies.
