| But, I can't help but think....why? Why not support me with this? Why not say..hey she is serious and is looking good. I better not ask her. Is it envy. That I have finally gotten serious to do something, the weight is falling off and frankly...they don't like it. I am the first to admit a girl I work with took off about 35 pounds and I looked at her and said...you look great. I am so happy for you and I said....out loud...no quams,,,,I am soo jealous! She blushed and gloated a little and said..thanks! I am starting to get snars from people at work. Some people say things like in a positive forum though.....Hey you are getting thin! Your clothes are hangin off you? I work in an office of people that all that they do is eat all day and like I used to do...complain that they are in the next size up. I know how to ignore them but, I just wish that they would be just more supportive or NOT say anything at all to me. Thanks for listening or reading. ![]() If you anyone else has thoughts, ideas or stories.....please do tell.

| It kinda reminds me of when someone has quit smoking someone is always right there trying to entice them back to taking one more smoke. My husband is an ex-smoker and he says "exactly." I'm not sure why people do that but they will say "Wow, you look great! How'd you do that?" Then a little while later bring out a big dessert and say, "You're going to have some aren't you?" katlupe |

| Hmmmm, my friends and co-workers know I've been following this way of eating for a long time, so when we are together, they don't even bother to offer me anything off plan. If a plate of cookies is being passed around, they go all the way around me. Do I feel snubbed? No! I feel loved, because they are respecting the way I eat, and go out of their way to keep the stuff away from me. Guess I've got it good!
