| I noticed that the prices go up with increased demand but don't go down with decreased demand.I guess the economics I learned in school no longer apply. Les |

| Hi Les It’s the same in the UK, lamb has about doubled in the last few months about £14 / $20 for a leg, lamb chops at about $7.50 for four. Chicken is low in price about $2 for a 3lb chicken. But you get fed up eating the stuff, my neighbours dog is getting real fat and she doesn’t know why cos he wont eat his dog food. Us lcers haven’t made much of an impression in the UK on food sales yet, but its coming, the government is now considering a ban on TV adverts advertising junk food on programmes that are directed at kids, the kids are just getting too fat, in my home town its estimated that 50% of school kids are overweight. Well I will just ride it out if it comes, I aint going back to a tree hugging grain eater, I will leave the grain to the cows, then eat them. Lez BigLez If you have never made a mistake then you've done nothing |
