Sadly, I lost my wonderful Mom to cancer a couple weeks ago....She had been so happy with my "new diet" and my weight loss....

I will not disappoint her, as she watches from above....

The good news is, Monday of this week I checked back in with my Dr. and lost nine more lbs. That's 35 gone since August.....

Mom is beaming....

What a wonderful tribute to your mom.

I'm so sorry for your loss, but you are right -- she is watching from above.

I'm so sorry for one of your losses, and yet thrilled over another - good for you. I do truly believe that your mom is with you, cheering you on, encouraging you all the way to your goal. Keep up the good work - you're making Mom proud!

Ginni..

I am truly sorry for your loss. I, too, lost my mom to cancer, when I was 13. Like you, I feel that she is always watching me from above and when I do things to improve *me*, I know she's smiling.

Way to keep it up with the LC lifestyle!

Thank you all.....soooo much....for the encouragement!!! ....and thanks for the condolences....

My association with the Atkins WOE is like a GREAT marriage! I finally found something that works for me, and I'm sticking to it!

It's agreeable....it's pleasant....and it's rewarding....and it's not an "ovenight" dealy. *sigh*...Yes, I liken it to a good marriage....something WORTH hanging in with....
