I just wanted to take the time to wish everyone here, a Merry Christmas. Eveyone is so helpful and you all just don't know how much you have helped to make this Christmas even merrier for me. For the first time in many, many years, I won't be embarrassed to dress up and be seen by many old friends. It will be fun again, to party and get out of the house that's become like a jail where I hide because of my weight. Now, I can have some fun too. So, for this, I thank you all, and wish you all Happy Holidays!!

Donna, I hope yours was as Merry as mine was. It was quite exhausting, though, what with 7 little ones running amok. My step-son and his wife stayed 'til 1:30 am on Christmas Eve. I finally had to kick them out because their little 2-yr old daughter was a basket-case. They were ready to keep going, I said, "No More" Guess THEY were having a great time inspite of their daughter's exhaustion. (poor little thing) Then they did it all over again yesterday and boy was she a tyrant. She tried to sock her great-grandma in the face. Mommy yelled at her, which caused her to become hysterical. So I took her and tried to calm her down and she started boxing me in the face. (good thing she's not very strong, ) So I held her hands down at her side and said, "NO hitting" which started her up again. She's 2. That about says it all. Poor little thing was so exhausted. THEN, at 9 pm, mommy and daddy wanted to come back to our house. I said "alright as long as they didn't stay too late, I am VERY tired too." They showed up at our house before we got back, so they didn't stop in. THANK GOODNESS!!! I'm a bit amused by all of this, but also a bit peeved. They really should have thought a little more about her and her needs. It was just too much for her to handle. They went to 3 places over the course of the 2 days. Just too much for her. But now, back to normal.........sigh. Overall though, it was a lot of fun, great food, great company and FUN games. But I'm glad it's over,
