OK scale went from 220+ to 203 and dropping. the problem is i don't really see a difference. my clothes are a little baggy in the seat but otherwise no big difference...can see my waist a little easier. I think I lost 1 1/2 inches off my waist, maybe 1 inch off my hips, 1-2 off my breasts....

what gives? anyone else losing weight but not much in inches?

To overeat junkfood is human, to get off my butt and start to actually do something about my lifestyle is divine.

Hi mom23, I am dealing with the exact same thing but I have a huge amount to lose so I will probably have to lose a whole lot to miss it. My theory on this though is that we are losing weight in places we are not measuring. Feet, hands, who knows where else. I really don't even care as long as I am losing. I am not one of those people that has a problem area. My whole body is a problem area. I think when I gained all this weight even to my earlobes got fat! LOL I wish you the best of luck. You are doing great just keep up the good work. Anita

I find my waist size goes down one inch for every 10 pounds (approx.) I lose. But ymmv.

It took me a while to see the loss in my body too. But, now that I've lost 30 lbs. even my feet are smaller!! Hard for me to believe.

Same here, I think I lost weight in my feet!!!!

Generally we either lose it from top to bottom or from where we gained it last. I noticed a big change in my rings in the beginning. I lost on my body (abdomen) in my waist first. Then it started coming off my arms, legs, and face. It's really an individual thing. Just be glad you are losing. In 2 months you will see a BIG difference, I'll bet.

I know exactly what you are talking about. After 5 weeks, I had gone from 235 to 212, but I had not lost a single inch on my waist. Over the next 4 weeks, I lost another 12 pounds, but my waist went down by about 3.5 inches.

In my case, it took a while for the changes in inches to catch up to my weight changes.
