| I used about 2 oz of milk today in my 16 oz of coffee this morning, it came out to 3 carbs according to fitday. 2 oz of half and half is the same carb count. Can I use the milk or not? |

| If you're following Atkins, then no -no milk. Use heavy cream for your coffee. LCE member since March 2002 |

| Started- For the same reason you should choose 3 carbs of veggies over 3 carbs of chocolate. Yes, 2oz milk and cream have the same carb count according to fitday, but the carbs from milk come from lactose. (sugar) Plus, I think fitday rounds up. My milk container says 11 grams of carbs per cup and cream is about 8 per cup. Jen Atkins since 11/11/03 140/133/115 |

| You don't need to use as much cream as you would milk, so the numbers are even less. Just a little bit of cream is enough to lighten and enrich the coffee. ************** "Sometimes I think you have to march right in and demand your rights, even if you don't know what your rights are, or who the person is you're talking to.
