Anybody tried these yet?

Not yet but I look at a subway all day long and I can see the pictures in their window. Soon i will have to take that walk across the parking lot. I am just afraid I will really like them and with subway so close I will eat too many!

I went to a Subway over the holiday. The wraps themselves have 5 net carbs. I decided to make a special combination and had them add ham, chicken, cheese and bacon. Before I realized it, the price had gone up to $8.00 with all the meats. I had to have a diet Pepsi with it too. Overall it was great – unlike the usual Subway sandwiches, all the meat filled me up for hours. I was really impressed, but next time I will probably stick to one meat to keep the price from going so high.

I tried the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap today for lunch.

YUMMMMMMY! I substituted the ranch sauce for regular mayo and I have to say it was very good. It is nice to know that there is a low carb option there.

My only complaint (and it is a small one) is that the tortilla tasted a little bit sweet to me. I haven't had any LC tortilla or bread products yet so I'm not sure if that's common or not? I still highly recommend trying them. As I said the one I had was delicious.

I tried the turkey wrap the other day, it was VERY GOOD but not that filling. I could eat two of them, and probably will next time.

I haven't tried them yet, but i will. I don't like the sodium thoug, 1600 is a bit much, so i'll make sure to drink a lot of water. I hope one is filling for me because the calories are high and eventhough i'm on this wol, i like to stay below 1600/day. I don't count like before, but keep a general idea.

It is 5 for the wrap itself. The veggies and sauce probably add the other six. I guess there meat would have some carbs too maybe since it is processed and all...paladin, what would you say the meat had, if any?

You can make any sub into a LC wrap. I was moving this weekend and Subway was on my path during my two trips. Saturday I had their cold cut trio for lunch, then steak and cheese for dinner.

And I'm gonna make it this time!

I don't think that the chicken had any sort of sauce on it, so I would guess that it’s about zero, same with the bacon. My one hesitation is with the ham – many hams are cured with sugar or maple syrup. But I honestly don’t know about Subway ham specifically.

So is one wrap by itself enough for lunch or do you need a side salad with it? If you order two than that will double the carbs.
