I totally had the whole mindset that pork rinds were ok and didn't think about the fact that the PLAIN ones are ok and not the flavored ones until it hit me when I was almost finished with my SECOND bag yesterday!!! I ate a 2 oz bag over the course of Mon, Tues, Wed and finished them yesterday! I had a bag this weekend when I went to Ft Laud! ARRRGH READ LABELS READ LABELS READ LABELS!! I wasn't even THINKING! I usually read labels ALL the time now. But had it programmed in my head that Pork rinds are ok! Didn't give flavor a second thought. That's probably where the weight that I thought I lost came from!!! WHAT DO I DO?? Have I completely sabotaged myself?

I don't think you have completely sabotaged yourself. Just drink LOTS of water (I LOVE pork rinds, but, boy, are they salty), and get back on the wagon.

Even the best of us make mistakes! Dont let it get you down and like you said, Read Lables! I've done it a few times thinking that something I'm eating is perfectly ok, usually I screw up by forgetting to read the serving size! Duh.

One thing I have learned on Atkins is that any mistake that you make can be corrected. You can fix it !! Just gotta move on! Good luck to you! And like Jestey said, water (and lots of it)

Suenos, did the flavoring have sugar in it? If so, and you ate this over the course of 4 days, it may not be as bad as you think. However, the sugar in the flavorings may slow you down a bit. As mentioned above, drink LOTS of water because of any hidden carbs from the flavoring, but also because of the salt content inherent in rinds. Just get back on plan, and consider this a lesson learned. It's okay to make mistakes as long as you learn from them. From now on, read those labels (it's second nature to me now) get back on plan, and just use plain pork rinds and flavor them yourself. (drizzled butter with cinnamon and splenda in a ziplock and shaken is a good one) or eat them with flavored cream cheeses as a spread, YUMMY!!!

Drink that water when doing pork rinds.!!!!!
