I can't seem to get the hang of OWL!! I would just about be fine for the rest of my life eating induction and occasional atkins breads and treats!! I added 1/4 cup of walnuts a day but that just doesn't seem like enough. It only has 2 grams of carbs! Fitday definitely helps I use it every morning to calculate what my carb count will be by the end of the day but when trying to add it up I keep having to add something higher in carbs so that I can get my carbs for the day. Usually it's cabbage because that raises it pretty easily. Maybe I should add some jicama slices...that has quite a bit of carbs in it. Any suggestions???

An extra serving of veggies ahould always be the first added carbs for OWL.
Then berries and nuts.

The Atkins nutritionals has a great list called The Power of Five. It lists the foods and amounts that equal 5 net carbs in the order they should be added back into your food plan. You might want to check it out.

Oh good lord that helped! hahaha I'm started reading the OWL chapter because I FINALLY got the book. I was looking on the Atkins website trying to find something but I guess I just hadn't read enough yesterday yet! (the website that is) Is tha t1 cup cooked spinach BEFORE cooking it. Same goes for cabbage and cauliflower and everything else do you measure it FIRST? I thought that you did but 1 cup of cabbage equals next to nothing it seems once it's cooked!
