Candy is what got me here in the first place...probablly got most of us here...and they are fooling people into thinking they can eat these things all the time and lose...ARG!!! 400/338/200 |

| I'd risk clogged arteries if I could eat chocolate again without getting fat, heh... Jackie, that candy store... Find out what the ingredients are. It may contain Splenda plus other things like maltitol. The Splenda is fine. The problem is, maltitol is often used as a bulking agent in these "low" carb chocolates because Splenda can't give the texture to chocolate, no thickening, no stickiness. ************** "Sometimes I think you have to march right in and demand your rights, even if you don't know what your rights are, or who the person is you're talking to. | I have to admit that I endulge in the candies as well. But of course only on a limited basis. It helps to have a "subsitution" for the normal chocolate I would have been eating before I discovered this WOL. ![]() Not gonna quit! start date 9/10/03 235/189.2/160 |
