| I had great success last year when in 4 months i had lost 25 lbs and was at my high school weight for the first time in years. I remember on induction alone i lost 6 lbs and consistently lost every week. However, my second time around i feel like i have to try a bit harder. I really started 12/26, but then binged on new years dinner so i posted that i re-started on 1/2. So it seems like it's been ahwile; and this morning for the first time the scale showed a 2 lb lost. I don't even beleive it cuse i feel bloted today! This website keeps me motivated; oh but motivation from the scale is a litte better...lol. I know it's the wrong thing to say, but i don't even feel like eating to keep it off. But what i'm really going to do is exactly what i've been doing for the past three weeks; eating right drinking my water (half gallon) and i'm going to add a nice long long walk and buy myself something nice (to wear, not to eat) cuse i feel so darn great! Started 3/20/03 thru 9/2003 Restarted 1/2/04, this time i will finish what i started. 180-158-140 http://www.geocities.com/lissette_es...ageceltic.html |

| Lissette Glad you're doing well! Keep that motivation as high as it is and you can't fail! Yes the second time the results are a bit less than the first time around. Happened to me that way too but it evens out over time. After 11 months on the plan I'm actuallu ahead of where I was when I low carbed the first time (Jul. 1998-jan 2000). Glad you joined us. | Good for you Lissette! I agree it comes off more slowly, but it will come off! I know what you mean about eating, I drink so much water that at times I don't feel like eating either, but I do. So keep eating, drinking your water and be good to yourself! |

| On the other hand, doing this the second time around I think we're better prepared, have more know how and we KNOW that we can't slip up. The loss of weight will seem slower, but it does come off. Lot's of good low carb veggies and lots of water really make the difference. Hang in there Lissette - your not the only one on their second round. Welcome back!! |

| Hey Curly dear....i re-started Monday the 5th of Jan...im back on track but lost only 3lbs so far...and yes its my 2nd time like you...maybe its because we are almost at our goal too...dont forget the last 20lbs or so are harder and longer...i do feel some inches gone but i dont mesure myself..im working odd shifts for the next 2 weeks here at school...its registration for adults...so the school buys us our suppers..they order pizza last night...being a good girl i brought my lunch and supper....the topping of the pizza looked nice but the crust looked like cardboard..thank god for that...lol...i think they are ordering chicken tonight...yum yum that i can have...anyhow...dont give up girl we are in this together like the first time...anyhow...look at it this way, summer is around the corner...even though tomorrow is going to be -41cel with winds....my fat will freeze..LOL..hang in there and drink more water if i were you...bring it to a gallon if you can im sure that will help you out more... helene ![]() To Love is to risk not being loved in return. | Lissette, After the new year a lot of us started back up and yes the second or more times around seem to change the way we lose. I agree with April about knowing more and making less mistakes. On the other hand we also have been able to eat thing like "nuts" that are not allowed on inductance which can make inductance harder. I think the 2 weeks for inductance the second time around has not seemed as long as the first time. travellost-51 yrs Young 1/20/03 195/145 first time 1/5/04 second time 150/147/135 |
