Hi Everyone,

Well, I finally decided to lose those last 9 pounds and the other 6 pounds I have put on over the holidays/vacation period. So I am back after 6 months. I started inductance on Monday and wasn't sure I would make it. I normally have a yogurt fruit/nut mixture in the morning and that would not be allowed on inductance. But I have made it so far without my yogurt. I am hoping to do better this time on inductance then I did last time. 2 full weeks of no cheating at all is my goal. I do not expect the same weight loss as last time because I have learn from all of you about the second time around being slower then the first.

At least I kept all my logs and spreadsheets from before so to start again was easy. I had lost your web site and then finally found it. I know in the weeks ahead I will be using it alot.

Hope to be talking to all of you again.

I remember you from when I was really active. I have started too. I gained all my weight back plus a couple of pounds. I wonder if it will be slower this time for me? If so that is going to be hectic cause I know where I can be and am impatient to get there. Being in the military I have to do PT three times a week now so hopefully that will help me to lose quicker than last time. Good hearing from you and I will be checking on your post.

Welcome back travellost! I've missed sharing travel tips with you! Glad to see you back on the board.

Don't forget that this is a way of life. Don't be in a hurry and before you know it, you'll be back in the swing. Sounds like you didn't do too bad for being gone. A pound a month, huh? Others have done a lot worse! Good for you! Maybe this time you can convince yourself that it will be for life and not just a "diet."

Peace,
Peg

Thanks for the notes. I remember all of you and so enjoyed chatting.

Rob you are such an inspiration to anyone. I use to go to the 100 form because it put my issue with low carb into perspectus. For me, I just started cheating to often and also I wanted to lose that last 10 lbs I didn't lose last time.

I remember all the chats about the second time around just being slower. So my expectation are a little lower than actuals from last year. I am hoping that inductance takes off at least 3 lbs and then I will be back to .5 or so lbs a week. It would be great to take off 1/2 of my weight loss in 3 weeks like last time but 2 miracles in one year is asking too much.

I am going on a Cruise, February 14th for 7 days and it would be nice to look a little better in my clothes.

Travel,
I found one of your posts on another thread. As I said there, it's good to have you back. Come on over the the Vet's forum and join Pegster and me tracking. Purplefrost is there, too.

You can do this--- you have learned a big lesson, too. You have to stay on plan!

Welcome back, Travellost!

Wow, it's so good to see some of our old members returning!!
Quite frankly, I think you have done really well if all you have gained is 6 pounds! Most of that is probably water weight gain... I'll bet you will lose it pretty fast.
Good luck with those last 10 pounds, too! I know you can do it.
