HeatherRene, thanks for the great advice. My BF is planning on doing what you did while on your cruise, eat whatever he wants. I know that I won't be joining him, as I have worked too hard to have to start all over. Plus, he will be able to drop any extra pounds much quicker than I will be able to! I am sure I will endulge in a few high carb items, and will probably try the carb blockers, but I refuse to feel guilty about it. If this is a WOL for me then this is what I have to do. I am going to have fun on the cruise, and food is part of that experience! We don't go til March, so I still have some time to prepare! 7 1/2 wks to go!

NOT GONNA QUIT!

START-DATE 9/10/03
WEIGHT 235/188.2/160 5'5"
SIZE 16/10/?

IMHO, I wouldn't bother with them. They're just a binge-enabling tool. Bingeing is a really bad habit to get into. In some ways, it's worse than being fat.

Think about it.....taking a pill to try to prevent what we are about to eat from getting into our bodies...hmmm. Could there be a better way??

I have an idea. When you get the urge to eat something you shouldn't, instead of taking a carb blocker, figure out how much the food and the blockers would cost...and donate that amount to your local food bank. That way you won't feel guilty about eating too much, and someone else will have something to eat.

LOL AR

IMHO, I think they are probably a waste of money. And I don't know if the intestinal distress would be worth it. How much fun will you have if you have to spend all your time in the potty?????
