Does anyone know anything about them? I am certain that they are nothing that would be used in the Induction portion of this program

Does anyone have the low down on them? How many real carbs? How many fiber grams?
Has anyone tried one? Are they good?

Thanks for the help!

PQ,
If you read through the posts on this site there have been NUMEROUS threads about these.
I've heard they are very good and the carb count is not too bad (for OWL).

One of the great things about this new site is the search feature. Just enter subway wraps and you'll pull up all kinds of threads on the topic.

I had my first one today. I had the chicken/bacon ranch with lettuce, onions and the ranch dressing. Very good and somewhat filling. The cashier asked if I wanted a cookie with it. Why???

Because, your cashier was clueless.

Reminds me of the old fast food, seasonal song which ends:

Would you like an apple pie with that?
would you like an apple pie with that?

Yeah, my cashier asked me if I wanted chips.. I just asked, "Why? You got low-carb chips, too?"

Sadly, no. But I liked the wraps, though.

I imagine that more than just low-carbers might eat the wraps. Before Atkins, I found myself getting tired of gnawing through their (kinda bland, gummy) bread.

They're probably required to upsell *something* at the register; until they've got carrots and celery or a salad that's less than $4, expect to get the chip-and-cookie spiel.

I tried my first Subway Wrap today....the chicken one...it was pretty good....but I couldn't help but feel a tad guilty over the "wrap" part of it....I've not touched bread, potatoes or pasta since August....

That Chicken,Bacon, Lettuce, and onion wrap sounds prety good, I thought from the comercial that they all were made with red and green peppers, I can't stand red and green peppers.

Tried one of the wraps today. It was good but for 4.59 incl. tax I'll stick to a nice chicken caesar salad. More filling. Takes longer to eat and makes me feel more satisfied. But I'll probably have a wrap occasionally.

I too tried the chicken-bacon-ranch wrap this past week. I agree it is pricey for it's size.(I was still hungry) but it did feel good to pick something up and hold it in my hands to eat it--havent had bread since August! My LC friend and I thought it was hilarious when the cashier asked if we wanted chips or cookies.
Sure we want'em, can't hav'em!

You can trust, if fact should use net carbs for your carb counts as long as the only thing being subtracted is fiber. Otherwise you could never get your required veggies every day.
