| I have a problem finding enough energy to workout like I want to. Anyone have any suggestions of what to eat prior to working-out to gain energy?!? thanks for your help! NOT GONNA QUIT! START-DATE 9/10/03 WEIGHT 235/187.4/160 5'5" SIZE 16/10/? |

| Try half of a protien shake, it won't spike your blood sugar so you get good steady energy from it to make it through the workout. I've found as you get in better shape you really don't need to eat prior, but a healthy meal after is very important for recovery, you're resting metabolic rate goes up for some time, and you don't want your body using muscle for energy. | I find myself getting tired easy when I start slacking up on my green veggies....so as long as you are getting plenty of veggies, water and suppliments you should be fine.....oh and never workout on empty stomach, I get severe blood sugar drops when I do that!! To get to the rainbow you must first pass through the rain! |
