I just realized tonight that ever since I've been on the WOEing, that I no longer have to worry about every little thing I eat. Before I started this, no matter what I ate I always thought it was going to make me fat..even it was a lettuce leaf. Now, as long as I know what I can eat, I can actually enjoy it and not have to worry about it. Its a great feeling!! Just thought I would share!

Congratulations on your new attitude, Emily....Isn't it great when that food obsession is under control? Sometimes I find myself going too long without eating - the foods I eat now are extremely filling and satisfying - no need to pick anymore.

Now that's a first!

One of the reasons I like Atkins: simplicity. Pay attention to "what" you put in your mouth, and "how much" pretty well takes care of itself. I can live with that.

this WOL def helps the diet process, makes everything so cut and dry. There really isn't a voice inside my head saying... just a little bit won't hurt (which always turns into a lot, and perhaps a binge).

I am still having issues w/the boredom eating thing. I am not hungry, but I have a desk job and somedays, okay most all the time, when I am sitting here I am thinking what can I eat. I find that I have to bring the food everyday of what I am going to eat. If I buy anything to "keep at work", I find myself binging on it. The only thing that I keep in my desk drawer is SF Gum, and I use this alot to keep my mouth busy!

I don't have any of these problems on the weekends when I am busy and running around. I just have to work through this food addiction!

NOT GONNA QUIT!
